Tough To Shoot
  The Victors and the Vanquished

After having shot --->two ONE FC Events in Manila, another ONE FC Event in Singapore, and Two PXC Events in Manila - I'm still no MMA fan and still have a lot to learn about the sport.  What matters most though, for me, as that my MMA images are, hopefully getting better [still have to improve on them], and that I get to know more people, competitors and insiders, involved in this brutal sport.

One of two consecutive blows that brought Nathaliie Heidel down,

 Iniang is the First -ever- Pinay to compete in Pacific Extreme.

Nothing could have been more gratifying than

 a convincing TKO [Referee Stoppage] Win for the Rookie.

The Main Event

PXC Flyweight Championship

Louis Smolka  vs  Ale Cali [defending]

Cali tends to taunt his opponents with this cockyness. 
I saw him do this last February against a Pinoy opponent
 [Cali won that fight, though]

Smolka, who I also saw  fight [and win] last February was prepared.
According to an insider - Cali simply suffered from RUST - 
Not having defended his title, at all, since after his big Feb win.

Once Cali was cornered by Smolka, he was done for.
Smolka pounded him into submission.

'Twas over in a minute or two
Ayos !

The New PXC Flyweight Champ

The  other much anticipated match, the Featherweight Match between Mark Struegel & Ev Ting was cancelled after Ev Ting reistered 7 lbs.over the limit at the Weigh-In.

Uriah Van den Bos {Holland/Montana} is a Minister from the Touch of Grace Ministries in Virac, Ctanduanes.  Pre, Pinoy na Pinoy to - lifestyle and all - at Magaling siya mag Tagalog !

This guy can compete but his other priorities do take center stage these days. I met Uriah last February and we had our first chat then.  He is part of the Pacific Extreme family in the Philippines. Had a simple pleasant chat, again w Uriah, just before he scooted to NAIA III for a  flight back to Catanduanes. He's just a regular nice guy.
