Fatal Error in the Fourth

After winning by 3 in the 1st, recovering from a [8-25] 2nd set loss by winning Set #3 by 6 [25-19], the Lady Eagles clearly use this psychological advantage over the Lady Bulldogs, to gain more momentum in the 4th - but NU is not one to give up.

 

Under the immense pressure of being behind by 5, in the 4th Set, 

the Lady Bulldogs score four straight ! - sending Denden Lazaro to the floor vainly trying to save a point .....

 This gives NU an even chance to tie the score at 23 !!! - and with the diminutive Dindin Santiago to serve ! .....

 I'm trying to focus my 400mm lens on the net area already, expecting a crucial spike or block that could decide the outcome of Set #4 - as Dindin elevates  ...

The ball whizzes above Denden Lazaro's head and lands out of bounds !!

as this gives the Lady Eagles Match point !!

At the ensuing play, Lady Bulldog [#4] Carmin Aganon  atacks the middle and drills one past [#1] Aeriel Patnogon [#1]  .....

I try to follow, w/ my lens, the ball, on its lightning fast downward trajectory ! - as the ever dependable [#8] Ella de Jesus saves  ....

 Barely catch Air Alyssa [off frame pa] as she sends this one Home ! 

.... and Team Ateneo to the UAAP Volleyball Finals for the 3rd straight year !!!
