Colored Shadows .....
Shooting "eye candy" is fine by me. Shooting "eye candy" that shows a high level of Artistic AND Technical Competence is even better.
With "Colored Shadows" - One fine January evening - I noticed the moonlight [yes, 'twas a full moon then] softly illuminating my PS3, w/ the controller atop] just as I was about to exit my bedroom, having turned off the ceiling lights.
I then pressed the power button to see how the green and red LEDS would appear, casting red and green highlights amidst the play of light and shadow. Then, I played with the angles for about a minute or two - and shot ASAP, lest the nuances of light from the moonlight disappear.
And from an otherwise overlooked "moment" - I felt I was able to craft a simple on-the-spot/on-the-go interpretation of a [Literally !] moonlit PS3 !! -Tell me, How often does one get to shoot a PS3 by moonlight ???!!!
- But STILL - I had to compose my elements - the play of light shadow and how I ended up with a red shadow whilst combining the nuances of light from the red LED and the ilummination on the white surface of the console by the moonlight - to come up with a Fine Synergy of Technical and Artistic SkillZ in this image.
Gets ?!

First to arrive - Last to Leave -- Lately, I've been coming "too"early" for the PBA matches and leaving way, way {way} hours after everybody has done his job -{ writers, photographers - even the janitors } Must be my mood or mode - lately -- whatever ! Works well for me !
With "Solitude" [which actually shows about a quarter of the Araneta press room] - I just wanted to remember those long hours I had put in lately [Never did that before] -- working OT - alone. Truth be told, those nights that I stayed up "all night" working alone till ..... ----You wouldn't believe what time I'd leave the SMART Araneta premises !!----

I do like the image, even though it outright seems insignificant and inconsequential at first glance . The play of light and shadow, the
textures , the depth, the reflections on the floor - the solitude of it all - I suppose, once in a while we need that - at least, I do.
More often than not, Solitude does more than help me focus on my work [wether at home, or at some press room] cause it reminds me be mindful of all my priorities, 24/7, so that every single thing I do eventually leads to my short term, and long term goals.

Silver Lining
It might be too far fetched to have an unusual "take" on a still life of a clarinet - when it could just a easily be a simple artistic image of the musical instrument but ....
Looking at the image of the Clarinet, the word "silver" easily comes to mind -- and somehow, by instinct, the word "lining" follows ...... simple as that.
Gotta find the "hooks" in everything - bro - Beyond, way way [WAY] Beyond seeing, that is ---- gotta Think AND Feel - even Compell -
- if i expect to come up with images - at least, that are worth a second or third look, even fourth or fifth look - Seriously ? - Yes, Seriously. To get my message Across
