I attend Press Briefs to shoot press release images [Right?] - but on the side I always manage to shoot images for my own personal files - Call them stolen, call them candids - whatever - I do find it kinda boring if I just come up with the "required shots".  Notice that I never even mention anything whatsoever about the Agendas of the Press Briefs I feature in this blog.

 That's just me. [This is photographer's blog - not a sportswriter's]

Well, anyway, yesterday, I attended this UFL Press Brief at Kublai's Rock - and here are my favorite images from that Press Lunch:

My group shots are always better than this. [So, what happened here?] Notice the timid stances of Belay and Karlo - and the gap between them.  Can't blame them - they were introduced to each other only AFTER this photo was taken.  Next time around - I expect a better group shot - Why Not ??

UFL Monday

Monday Night Football

 November 5, Monday

UMak Field 

At the last day of elims, rescheduled UFL matches saw Loyola FC battle Mendiola FC  and  Pachanga FC battle Laos FC.  While the first match was a 12-0 massacre of Mendiola by the Loyola  Meralco Sparks,  the second match was a battle of  attrition where Pachanga eventually prevailed over Laos  [3-2], thanks to the winning goal by Yves Ashime [#5].

Halloween 2012

Beauty Is -

In The Eyes Of The Beholder

[Yeah, Right] 

 

After being inebriated sometime over the weekend, and waking up one not so fine [bad hangover !!] morning [actually, it was almost noon] - I found the right "inspiration" for a Halloween Post.

Truth be told - As they say in the vernacular "Kapag laseng ka walang panget, lahat maganda !!  Ha! Ha! Ha! !!  Whatever  !!  The closest I can do to approximate what I remember that evening are these "photo interprets" of several girls I've known for sometime. Thing is - only three of the girls in the photo series below were in that condo drinking session.  The rest of the images are just fillers to complement those three images [only they know who they are] [and I'm using old portraits of the three girls, who I've known for years, and NOT recent ones] so they safely remain pretty much anonymous - as far as this blog is concerned.

Whatever - It's just my way of sharing the Spirit of Halloween.

 

And yes, we all had a "decent good time" -  meaning we almost all messed up, but not quite  . . .[hic!]

Self-Portrait

[and a few Photos from Singapore]

Ever since my 2nd trip [July] to Singapore [had 4 this year] i've made this ritual of taking my self-portrait outside the Louis Vuitton branch at ION on Orchard Road. I used a 100-400mm zoom telephoto lens in taking the photo above .   .   .   .

And on that Sunday afternoon [my last - at least, for this visit] in the 

Merlion City - I was able to make time to visit the Sands Sky Park before rushing back again to Orchard [Adidas at Paragon] to get my "jacket fix" then rushing to the Meralco Sparks FC - Gombak FC Football match at Jelan Basar Stadium [which is my main reason for being in Singapore] - a risky five minutes before game time ! [Talk about photo-finishes!]

I do hope to fly back to Singapore in the near [or far] future. And in as much as I've begun to miss that city - It is nice to be back here in Manila - w/ my folks and my friends - who I fiercely missed when I was in the Merlion City.
