Ateneo's "BET"s for the afternoon ,their big Three ->Buenafe, Elorde, Tiongson combine for 33 of the Eagles' game total of 54.

NU's "MVP"s, meanwhile, Mbe, Villamor, and Parks combine for 49 of the Bulldogs' 64 point game total.  It's the horrendous field goal shooting clipo the Eagles [27%] to the Bulldogs' [37.7%]  and their poor rebounding [39 to NU's 52] that grounds them.

Unfortunately my shooting [photography] is afwul too  - I don't have good shots of the NU Bulldogs that are blogworthy, mind you.  My NU Bulldog images are just off-synch or off-focus [it happens] - I manage a few, decent Blue Eagle shots, though.

The Bulldogs outscore the Eagles in the first three quarters and enter the 4th with a huge 18 pt lead.  The expected Ateneo rally { the Eagles outscore the Bulldogs by 8 ->[22-14] } ensues but it is case of too little too late.
