Sub Plot
Fact is, right after Alolino's lay-up, [above] Jerich Teng simply scoots out of the playing court - right straight into the Araneta dug outs and flops on the corridor - wincing in excrutiating pain. The few media people [including me] who manage to quickly follow the small crowd that gather around Teng just try to get a disreet image of those agonizing moments.
Fortunately, the incident turns out to be something that is actually "Not as Bad as it Looks". A good 20 minutes or so later, a PT [working w the UST Tigers] called my attention, and whispered to me that what actually happened to Teng was a severe case of cramps. Jerich eventually comes out of the dugouts to join his team on the bench [sometime in the 4th Qtr] - at which point the NU Bulldogs have the game pretty much wrapped up.

score 10 apiece
Emmanuel Mbe [dark jersey] manages only 4 points but hauls down 9 boards.
Karim Abdul [#20] leads the Tigers with 18 pts. and 12 rebounds.
Ferrer, too, hauls down 12 boards for UST [and scores. 11 pts]
They [the Bulldogs] score 25 pts off 14 fastbreaks attempts.
whilst the Tigers score 8 from 5 fastbreak attempts.
