NOT Lost in Translation

A Chinese Poem
from Ancient Times

rain
black clouds
fallen blossoms and pale moon
the hurried flight of birds
the arrival of lonely autumn
the time for us to part

much has been said, yet
we have not come to the end of our feeling
 i leave you this poem

read it when the silence of the world possesses you
or when you're fretted with disquiet
long must be this parting, and
remember
that all my thoughts have always been of you

Stumbled across this {already translated} ancient Chinese poem - from - of all sources,
a pocketbook on the Life and Tragic Death of Bruce Lee !
Yes, the Late, Great Bruce Lee, the Kung Fu Icon, who met an untimely [tragic] death,
way back 1975  [at the height of his popularity].

I can easily complement these words with an appropriate image - {isn't that what i do w/ every single post, in this blog ?}  but then -- this time --

I think not.

These sentiments can be easily appreciated AS they are - in a beautiful poem from the ancient times, in China.     Let's leave it at that.
