From just one of too many Truly Timeless Classics from the Beatles  .....

Was recently watching a "not-that-old" flick {"The Minions"}

where the "Despicable Me" character was introduced on the final scenes, just before the credits of the movie were shown .....   with this Beatles classic as background music  .....

Can you remember the tune ? Maybe yes, maybe no.

AS for me, hearing "Got To Get You Into My Life" still impacts me a lot - illicits images {and moments} {even stirs emotions} from my psyche  ....  and I like that  ...

Now, Isn't that what great artists [through their music, poetry, imagery, paintings, films .. etc., etc. .. ]  DO ?   Impact you, impact me - { remember "Yesterday" , or what about "Blackbird" [both by the Beatles] ?


And isn't passing the test of time the ultimate accolade, as far as the success of an art work us concerned ?
 
"Revolver" was released, around 1966 -67-68 thereabouts [I'm not sure]   ... It's now 2016   .. and that's a good 50 years, dude.  What more can one say about those four lads from Liverpool's Legacy ?

For one thing, that is what I strive to do, too - every single instance I take an artistic photo, particularly a portrait {hey, landscapes, street photos, nature photos, still-lifes, what have you, can be that impactful too}  .....  to make it eventually stay, SOULful, Impactful and Fresh, as it was the moment it was crafted - till after years, and eventually decades later even.

So Much SO  Easier said than done, bro - Absolutely, Totally - for even One Single Image to Stand Out Among -> Literally Thousands !! [we photogs shoot week-in-week-out, month-in-month-out].  And the Challenge will always be there.

Feel ko lang na bagay na bagay sa sentimiento ng kanta - wala lang - alala lang ang kilig - ha ha.

Ten, twenty years from now, even after I would have crafted so many more great portraits - this portrait will still be a favorite - and the words and music of Lennon and McCartney, will still be remembered, played - and appreciatted - as has always been ---> a fitting tribute to the musical genius of the Beatles.
