August 17 - SMART Araneta
Tams Repeat Over Bulldogs
Archers Get Back at Eagles
The FEU-NU match is held at 11a.m. while the DLS-ADM match is held
5 hours later, at 4 p.m..
I decided to randomly mix my action photos from the two Sunday games in one post.
[#18] Achie Inigo wins out on this one,
Prince Rivero is slapped a foul for
pushing off [#4] Nico Elorde, on this sequence.
Carl Cruz streches to gain control,
after slapping he ball away from Joel Betayenes' hands.
[#13] Mike Tolomia loves to spin in mid-air and
[with his back turned away friom the basket]
release the ball for a soft board shot
[whilst fishing for a foul].
[#19] Prince Rivero does a facial [literally] on Chris Newsome
but Chris manages to stay focused.
Marc Belo [obstructed] swats the ball away from Aroga's hands
So much for the Mad Scrambles, Non-calls and Errant calls ...
One usually remembers the baskets [and who scored them] converted during the dying minutes of a close, "anybody's-ball-game" type of match. Here are a few from Sunday .....
--- Shots that Mattered --
--- Cruz on the Clutch ---
--- Perkins from the Perimeter ---
--- Sargent Earns His Stripes ---
[from beyond the stripe]
FEU and DLSU's victories create a 3-way tie
for First Place in the standings.
The Tams, Eagles, and Archers each have a 6-2 Win-Loss card.
