Rain or Shine vs Talk N' Text

January 11, Saturday - Mall of Asia
Down the Wire

Just a few random action shots here :

This one draws oohs and aahs .....
Alex Nuyles' [#9]  "Hangtime / "Bale ng Katawan" move
totally fakes Danny Siegle [#42] out of position

As Siegle is going down - Nuyles is still HANGIN' !!-
for the unmolested PBlank shot !!  Tang Ina !!!

Paul Lee [#3]   -  Twistin' n' Turnin'

Alapag [#3] is challenged by Almazan [#57]
Nuyles [white] is doubled by Aban [left] and Siegle [right]

Anthony [#11] is clobbered
Rodriguez [white] is hacked

Next to de Ocampo's 24 is Siegle's 18 pts
JR Quinahan [#48] [defending Siegle] leads RoS w/ 19 markers

Baseline Hustle
Jeffrei Chan [white]       Jimmy Alapag [#3]

Gabe Norwood [#5] skies

Jayson Castro [#17] ain't scared o' nobody

JR Quinahan [#18] and Jeff Chan [#16]are only two of
several Elasto Painters who can Kill you from the perimeter

The Elasto Painters shoot 43.9% from the field
while the Tropang Texters manage 35.4%

For Rain or Shine - Quinahan, Belga and Nuyles - combine for 48.
For TnT - de Ocampo, Seigle, Castro combine for 59

In the last 2:20 the Texters are unable to score. Rain or Shine scores within that period to make it 90-88. A desperate perimeter shot [in the last TnT possesion] by Ranidel d Ocampo rims out and my hopes for an OT Battle of Attrition are quashed [Couldda been a another OT Classic - Who knows]
