 2013 Fil-Oil Basketball Tournament
May 10, Friday
Arena, San Juan
Archers Secure a 4-0  W-L Card

Actually concentrate on shooting HD Videos of a particular Green Archer during the match [for a multi-national client] but manage to take some [staggered] decent stills [randomly sequenced here] . That match sees the Archers win over the Lyceum Pirates by 6  [70-64].

Vergel Evangelista [#23] blocks a Jason Perkins [#10] putback.

Robert Bolick [#23] [fr DLSGH] shovels a pass to an unseen team mate.

Olan Tampus [#5]  takes it to the hole with David Garcia [#10] sticking like a leech.

Kib Montalbo [#15] gets his hands on the ball as Jerimiash Taladua [#22] elevates.

A clear hacking foul on Jason Perkins [#12]

Arnold an Opstal [#7] miscalculates on this dunk.

Archer Norbert Torres [#6]  is blocked by an unidentified Lyceum pirate.

A altercation figures the last few minutes of the 4th Qtr - after Jeremiah Taladua [#22] gives a hard foul on a driving Gabby ReyesNorbert Torres [#6]  pushes Taladua, in retalitation, with a few choice unprintables to boot - but the Arena Security is quick to diffuse the situation.  As players start to clear the bench a bgroup of blackshirts are already positioned between players from both camps.  I'd say it was "relatively boring" [I actually have it on HD Video] because nothing really happened - 'Twas just a release of emotion - given that the Pirates and Archers were just giving it their all.  Emotions are bound to be out of control every now and then.

After a few players are thrown out [as a mater of protocol - players that clear the bench are penalized] - the game resumes and ends with both camps shaking hands.

Bottom line is -->for DLSU, they have a 4-0  W-L  slate  while -->for Lyceum, they have a 0-3  W-L  slate. NU has a  6-0  W-L card as of this writing.
