With the Arena practically empty, these DLSU writers
{Gio, Aldo, Naveen} are just about to call it a day.

Except for five persons in these photographs - I'm pretty much acquianted with the rest {one of the guys is actually a good friend of mine and I'm actually attending a family affair of his, later this afternoon }.

Any sports event always brings people together. They are healthy social events, that is, IF one chooses to interact - and enjoy the company - { and in my case snap some decent people pictures - besides action shots }

Now, if one is a very avid UAAP fan - It is so much easier to understand and truly appreciate these images.

Last Season 76 - it happened to UP.

This Season 77, Adamson might just end up winless in 14 straight matches.

Runners Up for two consecutive years { Seasons 75 & 76 } - the UST Tigers fail to make it to the Final Four.

No doubt that Karims' absence [flu virus] during the 2nd Round match vs UE, Louie Vigil's missing the match [suspension] vs DLSU and Ferrer's being out for the season [hand injury] -{ He's missed UST's last three matches, so far - and will miss the rest of their remaining ones}- ALL DO factor in their failed bid.

The Tigers will seek to gain a measure of respect, and hopefully, play the role of spoilers in their remaining matches vs NU and UE.

Entering the homestrech of Round 2, into the playoffs
[to determine the Final Four cast], and finally, on to the Final Four -
One'll witness more and more sad moments [simply put] such as these - as teams are [one by one] knocked out of contention.

Ryan Monteclaro [below] will end his UAAP career [ as a Fighting Falcon ] on Sept.16, Tuesday {possibly without a single win in 14 matches, this Season 77} while Gia LLlanes [below] will continue to do her courtside chores in the upcoming UAAP Volleyball, and the PCCL Fil-Oil Flying-V Hanes Cup Basketball Tourneys - or whatever ABS-CBN Sports events might get to cover - all the way to 2016.

Yes, Sports is just one big metaphor for life - where people build careers, - friendships, and even SOLID relationships that just might last last a lifetime even --- and with that, as always - there will always be some relationships AND dreams .....

{of a Once-in-a-Lifetime-Chances for a College Championship [s] that only 2 among 14 teams will eventually gain}

.....that will have to be let go off - wether liked or not.

Move on with a Tear, Move on with a Smile - or Move on with Both !?
