UE vs UST - Round 2

 Tigers Take a Bow /
Warriors Keep Hopes
for a Final Four Spot Alive

UE - 78     UE - 73

Kevin Ferrer could only watch in frustration, as the resurgent Red Warriors, who had just beaten three of the top tier teams
[NU, DLSU, FEU] via a three-game winning streak,  confidently execute
[ UE registers a 50% shooting clip ]. They [the Warriors] know that they are only a win away from a playoff for a Final Four slot

As expected - The Tigers [already out of contention] would not easily give this match way - They put up a good fight.

Paul Varilla scores 8 markers in the 4th Qtr - The undergoal stab, above, pretty much putting the game away - for the resurgent red Warriors

One could easily notice a sense of anguish in Kristelle Batchelor's demeanor [courtside].  'Twasn't too long, in the 4th Qtr, before one could see the game eventually slip away from the Tigers.

I spent some moments inside the UST dugout - post game - listened to Fr de Sagon's final message to the Tigers - was allowed the pleasure of have taking a series of group shots of Team UST      [the last time together with Aljon Mariano, Kim Lo, Paolo Pe, and Kristelle Batchelor]

Go USTe !
