The Sparks were clearly not in their best form.  The long lay-off from their last match [Quarterfinals last July in Singapore] did tell on the team.  They were clearly outplayed by the Singaporeans.

 October 7, Sunday

Tampines FC  -  3      Loyola Merlaco FC [Sparks]  -  0

 

 In the First Half, Meralco , clearly, dominated, and time and again had great opps to score. The Sparks, unfortunately, simply couldn't finish.

In the 2nd half, the Tampines booters finally proved to be the better team.
Meralco lost their momentum and the Singaporeans 
simply took advantage of the Sparks' defensive lapses.

 Driven

 Tampines'  keeper Sasa Dreven held fort all throughout both matches.

Tampines never conceded a single goal.

I've never seen Anto that pissed off at anyone [in all the years that I've observed him, on and off the pitch], That Noh Alam Sha already has a reputaion for being arrogant and unsportsmanlike.
Kaso,Mahirap na talaga humirit pag hindi mo teritoryo.
 


 The Loyola Meralco Sparks are slated to fly back to Singapore
to battle for the Bronze.
