Starting My Week at SPARTA

September 26

Monday is ...
... Watcha Make of It
- a few more photo souviniers from SPARTA -

RIGHT AFTER the 6-7 pm Stenos Class
"o pahabol portrait mga pre !" - paumpisa na ang Calos class !
tamang-tama kasi ......

 ..... sadya to mga pre !
kasama ang portrait ninyo sa warm-ups
nong kasunod na grupo - ok ba ??

Taking a class portrait  from the 6-7 pm Stenos session, whilst the 7-8 pm Calos session was commencing did feel so "offbeat",yes ! - and was actually Fun - the Stenos guys were so amused [it did help that most of them were familiar with my skill level, and had complete trust in me] [same with ALL the three instructors present, too].

Yun Oh! -> Magulog Litrato !

- DURING the 6-7 pm Stenos session [image above and below] -

I'd like to think that every single workout i attend is never boring AND always difficult [challenging] - that is, in the progressive, incremental context - for ALL concerned - Instructor and Student alike, Newbie or Regular alike.

- DURING the 8-9 pm Stenos session [image above & next below] -

Breaking sweat alongside a random mix of guys from various backgrounds, professions, disciplines makes each session, for me, "less boring" [for lack of of a better descript].

"Mas enjoy naman talag kapag may kasama magdusa - di ba "

Now, taking the "fine art", or rather --> very "light art" of on-the-spot people photography very seriously - the gym scenario has surprisingly given me Endless Technical AND Artistic Challenges {combined} that i Totally Relish - for the simple reason that THAT is the only way to improve my craft - MUCH the same manner that "taking punishment" during workouts is the only way to improve, elevate my level of strength, stamina, fitness.

I've still got a long way to go, as far as fitness is concerned.

No Pain - No Gain

As far as on-the-spot portraiture AND human interest imagery is concerned, I have a relatively high level of skill {if i may say so, modesty aside}, and more so, STILL challenges me 24/7 to level up even more, every single opp, every single image i take.  I AM a never ending work-in-progress.

Every single Monday, or Tuesday, Wed, Thu, or whatever day that it is that i practice photography [or work out] can only bring me one another step forward [wether big or small] - that simple.

---------

FYI, I attended the 7-8 Calos class, just seconds after i took those pahabol portraits of the Stenos class.

---------

After finishing my 7-8 pm Calos session, i took a squat,
{as in like what i did last Friday night}
rehydrated, unwound, hung around ------

[ Friday was when I ended up with that Great {unplanned !} Portrait of Noah {do refer to a prev blogpost
 ->"Just Another Portrait in the Gym"} ]

------ and managed those two nice images [above] of Chris [in green] {during the8-9 pm Stenos session}, and then, "somewhere along the way" ended up getting acquianted with a Most Interesting --{Indeed!}-- well-rounded, businesswoman/entrepeneur, MMA aficionado, fitness buff, mother of one -> Patty Ortega-Kiefer

Yes - Monday is wattcha Make of it -
this one, the 26th ....  All Good.
