My Analogue Rock Photos - Part 2

Cookie Chua
&
 Color it Red

Images taken during a LIVE concert at UP Los Banos
way back Summer of 1995 !

The manner the blue color color patterns [above] and the red color patterns [below] came out were a result of the physical application of the paint [w toothpicks & needles & a dry brush] --->ergo they are "smudge patterns". Yes, I spent hours on end doing trial & error - and I could not undo the paint once applied , so imagine the number of images that were wasted in the process.

The images in the previous post [River Maya shots] and these Color it Red images are the lucky few that I was able to keep All These Years from those sleepless "artsy fartsy" "Summer of 1995" nights.

Suffice it to say, in that summer - In did travel often w/ and did lottsa LIVE shots of Wolfgang, True Faith, and After Image [remember Wency Cornejo?], mostly,  in outta town gigs.

But only these few "One-of-Kind" images luckily survived.

The same technique [as described in the post previous to this] was used in "colorizing" the Black & White Negatives of these shots.

Notice the black dots/spots. They were actually
a result of tiny,  minute air bubbles.

FYI - the dimensions of a 35mm film frame are 24mm x 36mm

.   .   . and BTW, NO, I was never into drugs or anything [I don't even smoke] - "Natural highs" have always been my thing

PS

Just might take a short and TEMPORARY BREAK and stop blogging for a while.
Bahala na muna at this point - can't say - Depends on my moods !
No worries - It's just a "phase"  - Yeah, Right  - Mwahaha
