Smarts, Steals and Sweet Spots

... and a Few Steals w/ Feels

Yes, I caught the 2nd and 3rd Sets of the 3-game sweep of the Lady Eagles over the Lady Tams, and covered the 3-1 Win of the Lady Bulldogs over the Lady Spikers. 

What truly "made my day",tho, were my "steals with feels" from the Ateneo-FEU match - if only because I was able to fashion a very, very [few] images - that I feel have a SSASS [all my own].

We'll - quite obvious that the Lady Eagles did dominate - right from the start - Hey, no offense to the Lady Tams - OK? Understandably,You are still a very young team.

So much for my action shot concerns ... We all know how much "concern" i have for fashioning interesting B-t-Scenes imagery [NOT that it's easy guys, mind you] which I like to do lot of -[if the situation is managable] 

 --- Suffice it to say - this time -"Nakahirit rin ako, maski papaano" -at least, as far as the next few images , hopefully, might show ....

It was the 2-some "SOULful Snaps" [Truth be Told] of Jia and Jhoana -

 that totally made my day [OK rin yoong kay John Del]

As, always, On-a-Whim, On-a-Spur, at a Moments Notice, Literally ! -

That is HOW I Decide WHO AND WHEN to shoot ---> "SOULfuls" .....

Chanced upon Jhoana Maraguinot [as the Lady Eagles were "just hangin" - watching the NU-DLSU match, from the side corridors], promptly asked her to position herself, said a few words to "art direct" her - then, as if "luck" would have it ! ---> Jia Morado simply walked past - [since I Do Know that Jia is already quite comfy w/ my mga "deskarte"] - Twas quite easy to ask her to part of another "mini-miniscule masterpiece" / "artistic collaboration" - perhaps  - if I may use such descriptions  ....

Maganda naman di ba ?!   Maski papaano may kasaysayan   .....

I am constantly on the lookout for "sweet spots" in EVERY given setting - so when a potential subject just happens to be in a sweet spot, and the timing is right - sometimes all it takes is ONE SINGLE click - Tapos ang Kuwento !! 

---> LOVE these spontaneous ones, of Ateneo Student manager for the Lady Eagles - John Del Armada, and his co-student manager - Nacio Yatco [albeit more dramatically lit]

NO Alteration whatsoever on these images - They are, as they were taken - It was all a matter of reading the "lighting scenario" and using it to advantage ! --  Blending a Fine Synergy of Technical AND Artistic Smarts in a one single execution - resulting in simple, but really Good, totally unplanned portraits, totally worth sharing  .... and, as in the Jia-Jhoana  "Feels !" photo -  Yun Oh !!
