My Tuesday Afternoon

Yesterday, I watched Rain or Shine beat NLEX by only 5 points {96-91} and Purefoods beat Alaska by a whopping 20 {108-88}.

Here's another set of randomly mixed up nutshell images from the said two matches plus 5  B-t-Scenes snaps to end this post on a very cheerful note.

 this 2nd Conference of the PBA ?

Whimsical, at the very least  ... two  "fleeting, glancing snaps" of Erika Padilla and James Velasquez, courtside, watching Purefoods Star dominate the Alaska Aces  {That's writer Carlo Pamintuan on the rear}

On a whim - I simply shot several On-the-Spot Group Images of some Sports 5 Staffers {who just happened to be in their prod room, as I passed it, and  curiously glanced inside}.  I "instinctively" verbalized a prompt request to shoot them - and in a a couple of seconds {less then 30 or so} - I came up with these two  "Worm's-Eye-View" {below} unplanned/unsolicited snaps of the posse .....

 Simple ? - Yes / So Unassuming Even ! / STILL - I do find it these two "snaps" - [above and below] - Very, very {very} N-N-N-Nice !!

It does help [a whole lot] that some of these guys {Joanna, Crystal, Paolo, and Direk Raffy} are comfortable with my "occasional deskarte" - and that I can make  "erstwhile insignificant" moments - into "mini-masterpieces" - that are simply pleasant, easy on the eyes - and "say something" - "speak volumes" - even !  about the subjects   ......

Me buddy Sherwin Valdeleon finally got his copy of "Pananisia" -

a coffee table book about Pampanga churches  {He is one of several contributing photographers}.

I snapped this one, inside the Araneta Press Room, just before Sherwin left for home [round 8 pm plus thereabouts] --- Me, I actually left the Araneta Press room - way, way past midnight {Feb.4, Wed na !}!
