Buzzer Beater Sunday - Part 2

September 2, Sunday
MOA Arena

FEU Tamaraws  vs  NU Bulldogs

Top scorers for their respective teams - Bobby Ray Parks [#15] - [26 pts] and
Tamaraw Terrence Romeo [#7] - [20 pts] go at it.
 [above & below]

It's hard fought match, with both teams having runs of their own,
during the 2nd half.

With 19 seconds left [75-all], the Tamaraws throw in, RR kills a few seconds on top of the key but looses control of the the ball, which ends up rolling all the way to the NU painted area - but Tamaraw Rogoy Pogoy is able to win possesion and simply lobs it to RR Garcia, who is all by his lonesome on the FEU halfcourt  [Most of the Bulldogs had already rushed to the NU halfcourt].

RR Garcia's last micro second lay-up that decides the winner.
[FEU - 77   NU -75]

I caught the lay up but my 2 images are Out Of Focus !!
[Damn!] [My Bad !!] - Anyway, no harm in sharing them.

- The Microsecond -
The ball is almost out of RR's fingertips. in this image.
[Notice the red backboard light is NOT lit yet]

The ball has left RR's hands and is probably hitting the backboard -
the red light is lit already
[These photos are UNCONCLUSIVE at best]

RR - You The Man

Lest you forget - Romeo [back to camera] scores 20 points,
as compared to RR's 10.  Here, Terrence is given a few words by
Christian Sentcheu on court, while their other fellow Tams whoop it up .

Much, much later, after all the players had left the Arena,
NU Coach Eric Altamirano briefs the few writers who are still around
about NU's intentions of putting the game under protest.
I barely catch Coach as he is just about to leave.

Tough, tough - very tough.
