The Blaze Boosters get of to a fiery start - prompting Gin Coach Ato Agustin 

to call for time .....

BUT in a span of five or so, his Gin Kings manage to smother the Blaze, 

and even take the advantage .....   they never relinquish.

Ginebra even almost reaches the 30-pt. mark as the 1st Qtr ends - Ginebra's Fab Four of Aguilar, Slaughter, Caguioa, Baracael having scored 18 of Ginebra's 28 pts the first  ten minutes. {1st Qtr ->Ginebra-28 Petron-19}

Petron outscores Ginebra by 4 pts. [23-19] in the 2nd Qtr. but Ginebra dominates the 2nd Half - outscoring the Blaze by 3 [24-21] in the 3rd, and by 6 [28-20], in the 4th - to win handily by 14. Final ->[Ginebra -97  Petron-83]

  

Where is Blaze Booster Jun Mar Fajardo ? ->On the injured list.
I heard an unconfirmed comment that he'll be out for six weeks.

     

 Without Fajardo, Arwind Santos [#29], has his work cut out for him.  The Pampangueno responds to the challenge, plays extended minutes [37], leads ALL scorers [25 pts.], and with Doug Kramer, also mans the boards to combine for 26 rebounds 

  

Aguilar [#25] and Reyes [#19]  suffocate  Blaze [Yousef Taha] [#28]

 Taha misses both of his 2-pt. field attempts

  

Jayr Reyes [#19] complements Aguilar's "board work",

 even besting Japeth's 11 by hauling down 12 of his own.
