Loyola vs Pachanga [UFL Cup]

October 14, Rizal Coliseum
Never Give Up

As Sports Goes, So Goes life.  As I've  exemplified in images before, several posts over - Sports will always be a Great Metaphor for Life.
The Values/Lessons one can easily take from Sports so naturally
apply to Life.

Giving One's Best All the Time, Never Giving Up, Practicing Humility, Practicing Self-Control - are but a few practical "words to live by" - in the Arena of Sport, and also, in the Game we call Life.

Yesterday evening, halfway into the 2nd Half, the beleaguered Loyola Sparks finally manage to score a goal - but are still behind Pachanga's 2 points.

Fast Forward to Extended Time - with the score still 2-1, in favor of Pachanga - It seemed that Yuki Matsuda's boys had it in the bag when,
all of a sudden, in a span of two minutes, the Sparks drill in their Second Goal [to equalize at 2-All] AND Third Goal, thus putting them ahead [3-2].

A few minutes pass by - then - It's game over for Pachanga FC !

Another instance of a "won game " lost.

47th minute
 --> Jinggoy Valmayor lights up the scoreboard

When all seemed lost,
{coming into the extension}
and behind [2-1],
 the Meralco Sparks {simply}
Never Gave Up -

It was that Simple

 Final Tally
