Kaylee and the New Volleybelles

Earlier today, at the SMART Araneta premises, the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix organizers {Score and Solar} held a lunch hour Press Brief. Thereat, Edgar Yabes invited one and all to watch some of the PSL matches in Ilocos Sur. Kenji Oh from ASICS spoke. Ramon "Tats" Suzara of SCORE, Philip Ella juico, Paolo Diaz, and "Doc" Adrian "Ian" Laurel also made some important announcements to the media --
-- AND, among other things, -- this years's PSL Open Conference's
batch of imports was formally introduced.
Among the dozen or so imports, Kaylee Manns, was the only athlete who had actually competed last 2013, in the PSL 2nd Conference [Open] [Nov.->Dec.].
So happens, too, that I'd been acquianted with the 20-something Kansas City native - so 'twas just so cool to chat with her again.
I've gathered, even as far as last year, that Kaylee loves going to Boracay, and is pretty much "at home" when in "the archipelago",
so to speak.
So much for that kind of talk -there'll be more opps for me to engage Kaylee in conversation {and to watch her compete} in the next few weeks.
So, here are my telephoto close ups of the other imports - who I'd rather identify,{ and trancsribe a few details about} - in another post simply because I have only some of their names [not all] - I still get confused as to who's who - so -when I finally release the said info - It'll be complete & accurate ..

When pretty much everybody had left, Petron's imports Erica Adachi and Alaina Bergsma stayed a little longer to accommodate some writers.
Thereafter, I found a few seconds to take a snapshot of my media buddy Kevin D. flanked by Alaina, from North America [the US of A], and Erica, from South America [Brasil].

Somehow, by some sixth sense, i could "read" how much at home Kaylee was - being in Manila.
It's in the "little things" I noticed -
She simply was MORE relaxed than the rest.. It's all good.
The Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix commences this Saturday at the SMART Araneta. There will be a brief opening ceremony, Luke Mijares [former lead vocalist of South Border] will grace the occasion - then a doubleheader will follow. Come Wednesday, Oct.22, the PSL will have another Doubleheader, this time in the Cuneta Astrodome.. From that point, on - ALL PSL matches will be held at the Cuneta Astrodome.
