Was hoping to wake up by 10 a.m., at the latest, yesterday, April 10,Sunday -  then rush my morning routine to be able to catch the [noon to 2 pm] UAAP Volleyball match between UP and UST at the MoA Arena.

Even had this option, to do an on-the-spot shoot of this Korean girl {w/in the MOA premises} -- and thereafter,  at 4 pm, cover the 1st Set of the Ateneo-La Salle Women's Volleyball elim match, then, by 5:30-5:45  thereabouts - scoot to McKinley Stadium, at BGC, for the UP-La Salle Women's and the UP-NU Men's Football Matches.

Two Pre-match Steals

 - LOVE This One !!!! -

For Maddie - I cannot even begin to fathom how frustrating it must be, having played, and being a major factor in the Lady Eagles wins during practically ALL of the regular elim matches -

only to be sidelined, at this point AND for the rest of the season [playoffs and all].

After one of the ADMU regular elim matches at the MoA Arena, I was fortunate enough to have the statuesque, broad-shouldered athlete from Davao  - pose for me.  I posted those simple photos,
 w Maddie in ADMU uniform, in this blog. {that blog post was released last       }

Well - I woke up at 12:30 ... 
{ha - so much for plans} ... and prayed, that by the time I'd be at the MoA, at the least, I could manage to shoot some UP Volleybelles [post match, that is].

Luckily, I caught a number of very tired, relieved [and cheerful] members of the UP Volleyball Team {they had just won vs UST} outside the Press' /Athletes'   Access/Driveway area .....

I've been taking on-the-spots of this petite young lady,

[she works for ABS-CBN Sports]

 pretty much everytime we see each other during matches,

since August of 2012 !

 Am still getting used to Ganiel.

Look forward to seeing more of her during the Playoffs.
