That was sometime February of 2009, when I first witnessed, and quite fortunately -> was able to "immortalize somewhat" Cristina de los Reyes.
I was hired by Ernie Nierras to cover two friendlies between the RP-U15 Women's Team and a visiting women's team, from Guam {I forget the name of the team}.
The first match was held on Valentine's Day [Saturday evening] at the ULTRA pitch while the second was held at the Ateneo College pitch at Katipunan.

As I recall, the girls from Guam, scored once, while our girls scored twice.
Cristina drilled in the second - winning - goal, as the Guamanian keeper faltered

More than seven years later !, during the Winner-Take-All UAAP Season 78 Championship Match - Cristina, this time, helped UP win its First Ever! Women's UAAP Football Crown !
Sta. Clara, tho, delivered the winning goal {the 2nd one} {Final was -2-1 -> UP !} - { but we all know that - to get to Goal #2 you have to score Goal #1 first }.
