Tams Get Back at the Tigers
[UST sorely misses Ferrer]
Ferrer, who sprained his non-shooting hand during training, shares a few thoughts with Karim Abdul, just minutes before game time.
As expected [#20] Karim Abdul land [#18] Louie Vigil are the Claws and Teeth of the Tiger offense - They combine for 41 points.
Along with [#6] Shiek Sherif and [#8] Ed Daquiaog [2 photos below Sheak Sheriff's lay-up shot], they take on the formidable FEU Tams with everything they have.
But the FEU Tams get off to a hot start, outscore UST {24-7} in the 1st Qtr, shoot over 44% from the field, and outrebound UST.
[#16]Roger Pogoy and [#12]Mark Belo [above] combine for 31 points.
Although [#13]Mike Tolomia manages only 4 markers, the balanced scoring among 10 Tamaraws bodes well for FEU. [Only 5 Tigers score]

One could feel the weight of the loss by just looking at the faces of Team UST. Sad, so, so Sad ....
Post-game - On a "Hi" Note, tho, I get to renew my acquiantances with UST Alum and former CSR [for UST] Tina Marasigan [right], {flanking Karim Abdul's [soon to be a year old] Karim Rodrigo} and mom Rochelle Lopez [left].
