How did an Alaska miss, in the last 8.8 seconds of reg time
make Beerman June Mar Fajardo look bad [at least, in reg time] ?
With the score at Alaska-74 and San Miguel-73, Fajardo made one of to free throws -Time down to a few seconds {I forget exactly how many}.
In the game's last offensive sequence {from an Alaska throw-in, with only 8.8seconds left} Jayvee Casio missed a last sec attempt that could have won Game #1 outright for Alaska - REGARDLESS IF Fajardo made both of his two free throws.

So - San Miguel "should" have won it, if not for that Fajardo miss - right ?
But, then, that was that - Let's NOT blame June Mar for the loss. It was the team effort, Alaska's suffocating D - as admitted by SMB Coach Austria post-game that made the difference -----[which eventually brought the Aces ahead of the Beermen !, at one point in time, and which eventually led up to an Overtime Period]----- for Alaska .
