Beermen Tie the Finals Series
{ Make it a Best-of-Three Affair}
When you are outrebounded by 18 hauls and make only 2 of your 13 treys [while your opponent makes 12 out of 33], and when your FG shooting is 37% as compared to your opponent's 43% - don't expect a favorable outcome.
The Alaska Aces never even had a semblance of control during Game #4 - the Beermen made sure of that. The anticipated Alaska comeback during the 2nd Half never gained any momentum, as San Miguel simply steadily outplayed Alaska [in practically all the departments] Alaska - outscoring Alaska in the first three quarters - to enter the 4th with a 24-pt. cushion.
No-Brainer that Alex Cabagnot is Match MVP ?
I'm sure it doesn't much matter to Alex wether it's him or Tubid, or Fajardo, or Santos being chosen as the game's best player - as long as his team bags the W.
And going into the tomorrow's Game #5, the Aces will surely recover from their horrendous 3-pt FG% [with guys like Casio, and Hontiveros itching to redeem themselves] and with the character, composure the Alaska Aces have, within [they wouldn't have gotten this far if they didn't have that] - expect a banner crowd - and enjoy another great battle between the country's Top Two Teams - I certainly will - Up Close and Personal, at that!!
Perks of the Job bro !
Hmm .... What are the chances that a player of Casio's calibre going Zilch !, after 19 or so minutes on court ? -- Nil or almost Nil !, Right ? - But, that's what just happened during Game #4 - and surely - this "shouldn't" happen on Game #5 - Right ??
I say it's ANYBODY's ball game come Friday .....
